A Japanese non-commercial rocket exploded when it was launched in an essay on Saturday, June 30, 2018. The rocket, named Momo-2, belongs to a private company called Interstellar Technologies

According to reports, the launch of the Momo-2 rocket made by Takafumi Horie was conducted in the Taiki test area south of Hokkaido. In a televised recording, after slipping 10 meters, the rocket returned to the ground and exploded.
The plan, the rocket will carry test equipment to more than 100 kilometers from the ground. There are no satellites in the rocket.
According to Interstellar photos uploaded to his Facebook account it appears that the rocket was charred and destroyed. Despite this, Interstellar said that there was no significant damage to the launch facility.
