The local deputy police commissioner, Shivaji Umap, said the construction workers were lucky to flee the incident.

"None of them was seriously injured.The Directorate General of Indian Civil Aviation (DGCA) said that the plane that crashed was a turbo jet engine of King Air C-90 and that he would have left the runway of Juhu not far from the place of the accident.

"In the plane there are two people who are pilots and the other two are maintenance technicians. All pbadengers and a person on land were killed, "said the DGAC in a statement issued by AFP .

The DGAC sent a team of investigators to find the cause of the plane crash
