Budi Karya added that he had also instructed PLT's Director General of Air Transport to conduct a special audit of Lion Air Airlines regarding Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), flight crew qualifications and coordination with relevant stakeholders. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Transport is currently communicating with several aviation related institutions such as the European Union (EU), the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the United Nations Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to coordinate the ongoing audit process and badess improvements to be made. made.

"We have communicated with the EU, ICAO and FAA institutions, some of the staff of these institutions are in Indonesia, and I am asking Ministry officials and operators to coordinate with each other. intensively with them, so that audits are done for some time.
