Muslim American group raises funds to shoot victims in synagogue

WASHINGTON DC, KOMPAS.com – The fundraising campaign conducted by two Muslim American groups for the victims of the Pittsburg synagogue shooting raised $ 80,000, or about $ 1.2 billion.

The campaign, launched on the LaunchGood website, had an initial goal of $ 25,000 in six hours and the next target of $ 50,000 per day.

In addition, CelebrateMercy and MPower Cange, a US-Muslim non-profit institution, raised funds worth US $ 100,000, or Rs 1.5 billion.

"We want to respond to evil because faith demands it and sends a message of strong compbadion through action," the group said in a statement.

"Through this campaign, we hope to send a common message from Jewish and Muslim communities that there is no room for hatred and violence in America," the group said in a statement.

The author, Robert Bowers (46), was arrested and injured as a result of his shooting with the police.

President Donald Trump also said that all Americans mourn mbad killings of Jews.

"This devilish anti-Semitic attack is an attack on humanity," Trump chanted.

"We will all work together to eliminate the poisons of the world's anti-Semitism and we must unite to overcome hate," he added.
