Well, today (Thursday 29/6), held at Floating Space UI Depok campus, the University of Indonesia represented by the rector of the UI Muhammad Anis has signed a memorandum of understanding with Perum DAMRI represented by the managing director Setia N. Milatia Moemin, with PT Tourism Development Indonesia (Persero) or Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) represented by the President Director Abdulbar Mr. Mansoer.

The three parties agreed to develop the national electric bus operation of UI production and pledged to control several electric bus units manufactured by the team Molina FTUI. The cooperation between the UI and the two state-owned enterprises is a form of government and industrial support to the results of research conducted by universities.

With this agreement, it is expected that more and more industries or companies will order electric vehicles manufactured by the IU. In the future, the UI will continue to innovate and develop the electric bus. Not just in terms of vehicles but also some things that support the operationalization of electric buses such as manufacturing, charging stations and after-sales service.
