Suhariyanto said that to calculate the national corn production, his institution still had to discuss with the Agency for the evaluation and application of technology. Previously, together with BPPT, BPS had also adjusted the method of calculating domestic rice production.
"So we saw it first, we only need three years of rice," Suhariyanto said. "We have to make sure the methods are objective and transparent."
