The total volume is 200.92 tons (11 containers) worth 895,450.98 USD, or 13.52 billion rupees.

Nurdin said, this will happen continuously every week. The total number of containers loaded by the SITC in this direct call is 298, ie 287 containers for Asia, 7 containers for the United States and 4 containers for Europe.

"With Makbadar-Europe and Makbadar-United States direct calls, exporters are benefiting from the simplicity and cost efficiency and travel time of export destination countries," Nurdin said.

As an illustration of the Makbadar-Europe journey time, it has been taken so far for 61 days at a cost of $ 2,200 per 20-foot container with a 42-day direct journey time at a cost of 1 700 USD per 20-foot container, so that a 19-day efficiency and cost-effectiveness in USD 500 per container.

With regard to exports to the Asian region, South Sulawesi has been exporting directly since December 2015. South Sulawesi's exports from January to September 2018 amounted to US $ 905,572,167.96, up 17% over the same period in 2017, to reach US $ 773,969,153.86, with the agricultural sector accounting for 20% of total exports. , 39%, the Industrial sector 19.19% and the mining sector 60, 40 percent.
