The Garuda employee reveals an internal problem within the airline.
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – Minister of Transport (Menhub) Budi Karya Sumadi revealed that his counterpart had requested an audit of the airline Garuda Indonesia. This is due to the internal problems expressed by the pilots who joined the Garuda Pilot Association (APG) and the Garuda Employees Union (Sekarga).
"I met APG, at my meeting, I promise to check," said Budi. Merlyn Park Hotel, Central Jakarta, Friday (6/7).
The audit was conducted not only because of internal problems expressed by Garuda employees. Budi said that he had received several complaints related to the airline. According to him, the complaint concerns the durability of the air operations of the airline. "Because what I give to me is that there are security elements that are not done with the maximum," said Budi.
To this end, Budi ensures that the final result of the audit will be delivered as soon as possible. Budi wants, the audit results can lead to improvements to make the next Garuda more daik and maximum service.
Previously, APG and Sekarga who had threatened to strike had reached an agreement with the company. In addition to canceling the strike, Garuda and the pilot project management pledge to communicate well and improve the company's performance.
