Ankara, CNBC Indonesia – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan confirmed that seven soldiers were killed and 25 wounded during an explosion in an ammunition depot in southeastern Turkey.
The events that took place on Friday (11/10/2018) took place precisely in the province of Hakkari, on the border of Iraq and Iran. The base is often used for operations targeting Kurdish rebels.
Speaking at the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the death of the founder of the Republic of Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, Erdogan said that the explosion of the ammunition depot had resulted in the death of four people.
