Yamaha FreeGo Pioneer Pioneer Skutik Use ABS

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Yamaha FreeGo is available in three variants, namely Standard, S and S-ABS. The highest type sold for Rp. 22.5 million is already equipped with features Anti-lock braking system (ABS).

Yamaha claims that FreeGo has become a pioneer in the category of 125cc scooters equipped with ABS. In fact, a type of Mio, X-Ride, Soul GT, competitors like Honda Vario, nobody has this feature.

PT Yamaha Indonesia (YIMM) Marketing Manager Antonius Widiantoro explained that the consideration was to add the functionality to consumer safety support.

"It's also based on the survey we conducted, so we've prepared the non-ABS and ABS versions," Antonius recently told IMOS 2018.

According to Antonius, the ABS feature is not just about high speed motorcycles. Indonesian consumers also believe that the integration of ABS is very important for mutual safety and protection.

"Consumers say they need this feature, and other than FreeGo, if some consumers want more on other models, we can also consider it," he said.
