The purchase, said Navin Shenoy, executive vice president of Intel, aimed to cope with a data explosion that has heightened the demand for computing power to analyze it and into network systems to exchange it into data centers.
Shenoy said the deal should be completed in the third quarter, he said, refusing to give his value.
