The latest generation of Emporio Armani Android smartwatches is available for pre-order

Emporio Armani manufactures Android-based smartwatches, all of which are available around the Apple Watch range. While Armani smartwatches lack touchscreen and many applications, they work like luxury Fitbits, connected to an Armani app for iOS and Android.

Armani releases a new generation of touchscreen connected watches, the company announced today, as spotted by Android Police . Each of the watches will have a 1.19-inch AMOLED display and will be powered by the dated Snapdragon 2100 chip that's been around since 2016. Although they look a bit like stainless steel bands, they have several smart features like Google Assistant and Google Pay . capabilities, heart rate monitoring, water resistance, and an integrated GPS sensor for tracking fitness.

The new smartwatches are available in presale today via the Armani website. They cost between $ 295 and $ 395 and will arrive in stores around the world in September. They come in silver, rose gold, blue and two shades of black. The watches will also be available in China, where Google services are being replaced by Alipay from Alibaba and the intelligent Mobvoi badistant.
