Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly popped the question to long-term girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez.
The professional footballer, who has been dating the model since 2016, is believed to have asked Rodriguez a year after they welcomed baby daughter Alana.
A source told Portuguese tabloid Correio da Manha: “Cristiano has already asked Gio to marry him and the wedding will take place, but few people know the details
“All that is known at the moment is that Gio has already tried on some wedding dresses.”
The couple posted a string of images online on Wednesday after enjoying a night at fusion restaurant Zela in London alongside Ronaldo’s eight-year-old son Cristiano Junior.
Rodriguez, 24, raised eyebrows after she appeared to flash a stunning diamond band on her wedding finger.
The couple later took to social media to gush over the “amazing” evening.
Standard Online has contacted representatives for Ronaldo for comment.
Rodriguez gave birth to her first child with the footballer in November 2017.
Speaking after the birth of her daughter, she told how the new addition to the family had strengthened her relationship with the footballer.
“It has definitely brought us closer. We’re happier together than ever”, she told Hello!.
Ronaldo is also father to daughter Eva and son’s Mateo and Cristiano Junior via surrogate.
