Prepare your engines because "Hobbs and Shaw", the future "Fast & Furious", is getting ready for movie theaters. Here's all we know about the adrenaline-fueled movie to the present.
The Basics
Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham will be in the forefront in a "Fast & Furious" spinoff for Universal Studios. Fans were delighted with this news, but few were surprised: Statham's disreputable villain, Deckard Shaw, and Johnson's Diplomatic Security Officer, Luke Hobbs, stole the show with their chemistry in scenes of the eighth film, "The fate of the furious".
Statham officially joined the franchise (and threw the first with Johnson) in the seventh film, "Furious 7" of 2015.
Idris Elba is the new villain
Idris Elba officially signed on to be the villain in the fallout, to the delight of his co-stars. bad, but I'm dangerous, " wrote The Rock on Instagram on July 5." Welcome my brotha @idriselba with tattooed and open arms … For years we've been waiting for the bonn e opportunity to work together and this movie is the perfect one … Every great hero needs an even bigger villain … Cue the music … I was waiting … let's dance. A hot director is at the helm
The family tree grows up
Vanessa Kirby will play Shaw's sister (who is also an MI-5 agent). cut out and we had a great chemistry together, she's strong – it'll be fun! "tweeted Johnson.
To refresh your memory, Deckard's brother, Owen Shaw (played by Luke Evans) was the main villain of "Fast & Furious 6." of 2013. But in a turn of events, Owen teamed up with his brother to help last year's heroes "Fate of the Furious" . "
I guaran-damn-teed, @VanessaKirby She was going to have a shot with me filming our movie. We will also blow up Statham extremely frozen. Or as they say in the streets, lol jealous #Kirby #FastAndFurious #HobbsAndShaw https://t.co/cYTu8ElWur

Where do you know Kirby? The actress played marvelously Princess Margaret on the first two seasons of "The Crown".
Vin Diesel is almost certainly not there
A major feud between Diesel, which plays signature anti-hero Dominic Toretto in the franchise, and The Rock became public in the last few weeks of filming "The Fate of the Furious "in August 2016, when Johnson took on Facebook and slammed unnamed male co-stars. "Some behave like standing men and real professionals, while others do not," he said. "When you watch this movie in April and it seems like I'm not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is boiling – you're right."
Before the release of the movie in 2017, Diesel told USA TODAY had been "disproportionate", saying the two stars were both "alphas". Diesel called the FF "a family, we must all be on the same side, you can not vent the frustrations of an arduous production on Twitter or otherwise". But by April 2018, Johnson did not seem to be finished, saying that their explosion was about professionalism.
"Vin and I had some discussions, including a big face-to-face in my caravan," Johnson said " Rolling Stone", confirming that his scenes and Diesel were shot separately. "And what I realized is that we have a fundamental difference in philosophies about how we approach filmmaking and collaboration."
Johnson added that he was "not quite sure". I focus on making the spinoffs as good as possible, but I wish him all the best, and I have no ill-will there, just because of the clarity we have. "The magazine says that he changed his mind" In fact, you can erase this last part about "no ill will". We will keep it with clarity. "
It's Money, Honey
It's not surprising that Universal Invest in The Fast & Furious franchise ", launched in 2001, has grossed more than $ 5 billion worldwide:" The Fate of the Furious "in 2017 brought in nearly $ 1.2 billion worldwide
