It's been a little over a month since the famous chef and storyteller Anthony Bourdain died by suicide, and now his work is honored to posthumously title by one of the world's most prestigious media organizations.

On Wednesday, the Television Academy and Foundation announced that "Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown" had received six nominations for his 70th Primetime Emmy Awards.

The show has been nominated for six categories: cinematography for a non-fiction program, image editing for a non-fiction program, sound editing for a non-fiction program, mixing sound for a non-fiction program, reality series and information series or special.

Bourdain was named executive producer and host of the last category, and was also nominated for outstanding writing for a non-fiction program.

In a memo ticket from his long-time friend, Chief Andrew Zimmern, host of Travel Channel's "Bizarre Foods," congratulated with a tweet about:

A former employee of Bourdain at Zero Point Zero Production Inc., who produced "Parts Unknown", also paid tribute to the chef, stating: "Today, we have received 6 nominations for Emmy for our work on Parts Unknown. you would be so … proud, I'm incredibly proud of our entire team – the work we have done and will continue to do.

Bourdain wrote the front in the cookbook for Big Gay Ice Cream, a frozen dessert shop in New York, and the official account of the popular candy fair commented on an Instagram post about the nominations :
