Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson are engaged after only a few weeks of dating.

Ariana Grande says fiance Pete Davidson's joke about a deadly attack at her concert in Manchester, England in 2017 is "unfortunate" and not funny.
Twenty-two people died and many others were injured. Large of a suicide bombing that took place while fans were leaving the Grande concert on May 22, 2017. Grande gave a benefit concert to help the victims and their families.
Davidson's joke at a benefit event last fall, resurfaced recently. According to People Davidson cited the attack in reference to Grande's growing fame: "Britney Spears did not have a terrorist attack at her concert."
In a sincere Twitter response Thursday to a fan asking why she stays with the star "Saturday Night Live" in light of her joke, Grande has qualified the joke as "unhappy" but added that Davidson uses comedy to make people feel better and never be mean.

Davidson, who joined SNL in 2014, lost his father, a firefighter, to the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks in New York.

Davidson confirmed the couple's engagement reports in a NBC show The Tonight Show," about a month after he confirmed on Instagram that he and Grande were dating.
