Birds Eye have launched sweet potato waffles and we can not wait to try them

Wow.

We can safely say that every single child in Ireland has grown up having Birds Eye waffles for every single meal.

We mean that. They went with everything.

And even now as adults, they make for the perfect hangover food.

So you can imagine that we're pretty excited to hear about Birds Eye's latest endeavor.

Birds Eye are redesigning the potato waffle. And we know we can hear you thinking of yourself: "But how could they improve something that is already so perfect?"

Three words: Sweet potato waffles.

Yep.

According to The Sun, this heavenly snack will be available in Tesco from 12 November. We're literally counting down the days.

Sweet potato fries have become extremely popular as of late, acting as a regular healthier version of regular chips.

Birds Eye's managing manager Pete Johnson said, "We've seen a tremendous rise in the popularity of sweet potato, so we've decided to give our clbadic Birds Eye Potato Waffles a modern makeover.

We are confident that they will become a new family favorite. "
