Brendan Greene states that PUBG Corp refactoring code that causes breakages

In an interview with ESL, Brenden "PLAYERUNKNOWN" Greene discussed some of the problems faced by PUBG Corp. when redesigning the code. According to him, the company devotes a lot of development resources to optimizing. He also discussed how to optimize and fix the game, PUBG Corp could accidentally break the game in the process.

What PLAYERUNKNOWN means by refactoring the code, is that PUBG Corp. is in the process of restructuring the code of PUBG and Unreal Engine. This restructuring will attempt to change the way code breaks complex problems into smaller, more manageable parts. The ultimate goal of refactoring is to improve all nonessential aspects of the software.

Refactoring The PUBG code will experience a large increase in optimization and stability, as it will mitigate all the problems of the game. The unfortunate disadvantage is that sometimes the game code might break after an attempt to repair. PUBG had several updates that resulted in poorer performance, although the overall goal was to fix the bugs.
