The latest version of Rockstar Game, Red Dead Redemption 2 on PS4 and Xbox One, is a game in which you will want to spend a lot of time discovering all its secrets and details. You can spend more than 50 hours just to finish the main story, to slow down the accumulation of wealth and honor. But if you're looking for a shortcut – who wants to find a fast track to success while leading an outlaw life in the last days of the Wild West – we're here for you. Just like the original game and GTA V, Red Dead 2 offers an badortment of cheat codes that unlock additional resources, with gimmicks and unusual quirks in your game.
To find the Cheats menu, press the pause button and select the Settings option. In this menu, press Triangle or Y (on PS4 and Xbox One, respectively) to display the Cheats menu. From there you will find a long list of locked cheats. At first you will not know what they are doing or how to unlock them. Many of these codes can be activated by inserting the correct phrase, but others will require extra time and effort.
In addition to finding pbadwords to explore the world, some of which are inserted into the game, you will find throughout the game newspapers for sale in the cities and some offer hints on how to unlock these additional fun options. More newspapers will be available after the end of the main missions, which will be detailed in the press articles. While many of these tips introduce mostly benign amusements – such as keeping his character, Arthur Morgan in a state of perpetual drunkenness – activating these codes at any time will have consequences on your backup. Once you have activated these codes, all trophies and achievements will be disabled for that particular file. Therefore, before trying any of these codes, be sure to create a separate file for your main backup.
