Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Premiere Review: October Country

The hour of the wizards is near and, if possible, more enchanting than promised.

Watching it during the Netflix and Chills panel in New York's Comic Con meant wondering how it was possible for the pilot episode to explore such a variety of topics from the start.

The basics of the future mythology of the series are prepared, but there is also enough room to consolidate the main characters and the lasting bonds that they share.

Both characters scratch the surface of the established main distribution and the potential that everyone has in the grand scheme of things.

It is difficult to create strong links in a pilot episode and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is engaging significantly.

All relationships are not established for us, but the groundwork is in place and is developing successfully.

There are unanswered questions about how some people integrate with each other, which adds to the addictive nature of the series.

You want to come back and see how Sabrina and Harvey continue to go out together when things get complicated. You want to continue to invest in the organic back-and-forth that Sabrina has with Ambrose.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina will not follow its predecessor, but showcases the iconic couple Harvey and Sabrina.

Sabrina is looking for everyone because she knows that she will leave them, whether she does it completely or not, that's another question. The chances of her disappearing as expected from their lives are slim, if only because they would not have been presented this way.

• It's a euphemism to say that the setting is significant and incredible about this show. As a big fan of Halloween and how it mixes with the autumn mood on TV, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina offers exactly that.

  Everything goes from Sabrina to Harvey, picking pumpkins and exploring the maze maze, pbading through Sabrina, who hang out at the cemetery with Ambrose. The series draws a lot from its cinematography and it works well for them.

• Madame Satan is such a well-written character, and it's only an episode. We do not always know exactly what the final phase is: help Sabrina discover her dark side or put her life in danger. But it's all part of the fun, especially with the arrival of Father Blackwood in the equation.

• Using people's fears against them as a form of torture is never great, but this principle deserved it. It was a successful example of the blackness of the series and the superposition of Sabrina.

  She is not only attracted by light or darkness, she wants to experience both. It's exciting to know that Sabrina will not fight strictly to follow what is right; she is willing to venture into the punishments and twisted methods that keep us on our guard.

• RIP mysterious bat. We will really miss you.

• Has anyone found Sabrina's somewhat messy comment about the Weird Sisters, especially Prudence, a little bit? Throwing the racist word out there did not contribute as expected. It stands out and I am not sure whether it is good or bad.

• The Spellman house looks amazing. Does everyone have their fingers crossed so that we can see more soon? No? Just me?

• It's a bit like starting to remember the other TV version of Sabrina's story. Aunt Zelda is much more unpredictable, Salem is more threatening and the use of magic is somehow more standard.

  In this version, Sabrina does not explore (yet) her skills, she already seems to understand him. She focuses more on the temptation of darkness, which the original TV series had tried to avoid because of the big difference in tone.
