After much anticipation, fans of The Crown have a glimpse of the new Princess Margaret and Antony Armstrong-Jones!
On Wednesday morning, the Netflix series released two new images of the upcoming season – This time, the sister of Queen Elizabeth II and her husband
In the first image, Helena Bonham Carter channels Princess Margaret looking at a cigarette in its holder while the blurred silhouette of a man in a suit is seen as a backdrop. Carter – who replaces Vanessa Kirby in the role – is seen sporting a brown coat, a piece of blue hair and a perfectly winged eyeliner in the picture, which is simply captioned: "Hope".

As for the actor Ben Daniels, who takes on the role of Margaret's husband, photographer Antony Armstrong-Jones, he is seen behind a camera in the first look at his character. In the close-up picture, Antony – who was portrayed by Matthew Goode in the first two seasons of The Crown – adjusts the lens of his camera while his piercing eyes are in full exposure. "Hurt," reads the legend.

The newly released images come a few days after The Crown debuted on first picture of the new Queen Elizabeth II, Olivia Colman, who took over the role after Claire Foy. "Patience", read the caption next to an image of Colman as the Queen, sipping tea.

Carly Steel caught up with Foy last October to question him on the casting of the third season of the show, which will come back in 2019 and resume where his second season has ended.
"I've known it for a very long time and I've been excited for a long time," said Foy de Colman as he entered the role. "We talked and I just think she's just the most amazing actress." And she's also an incredibly wonderful human being, so I just think it's great. It's amazing, I can not wait to see what she's done, the part is not mine, it's never been, it goes on and it goes on and on. I can not think better of anyone. "
As fans wait patiently for the third season, due in 2019, watch the video below to hear what Foy and Matt Smith – who portrays Prince Philip in the first two seasons – had to say about Bonham Carter when AND asked them about his then-potential role in the series in January.
