Fortnite Challenge Guide Season 5: Birthday Cakes, Basketball, Search Between Oasis, and More

Fortnite Season 5: Battle Royale is underway on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch and iOS. As before, the new season brings with it an badortment of new challenges to complete, as well as a variety of Battle Pbad rewards to unlock. This time, however, Epic has made some noticeable changes to the way some Battle Pbad challenges operate. Here's all you need to know about the new challenges of season 5 and the details on all that are available until now.

Once again, players who purchase the Season 5 Battle Pbad will have a set of goals to complete each week. the turn will go towards leveling the Battle Pbad and unlock new rewards. However, unlike previous seasons, weekly challenges are now divided into two categories, Free (which are available to all Fortnite players) and Battle Pbad (which are reserved for those who have purchased the Pbad). This means that even if you have not bought the Battle Pbad, you will still achieve certain goals and earn rewards.

If you decide to collect the Battle Pbad during the season, you will also be able to retroactively unlock the bonuses you have earned based on the level you have already reached. However, one of the advantages of buying the Battle Pbad is the XP bonus, which is awarded for playing in general and for playing a party with friends. Since the level with XP is Battle Stars, you'll want to enter the Battle Pbad as soon as you can and take advantage of these bonuses.

Drift challenges, on the other hand, charge you to earn a certain amount of XP. There are five Drift Challenges to complete in total in Season 5, each of them rewarding you with a new style option for Drift skin. If you manage to complete four of the five Drift Challenges, you'll also unlock the Rift Edge, an alternative for the draw. For a limited time, you can also take on special challenges related to Fortnite's birthday.
