Gal Gadot surprises the children's hospital dressed in Wonder Woman

Gal Gadot dressed as her alter ego Wonder Woman, made a surprise visit to the Inova Children's Hospital in Falls Church, Va., On Friday. where she comforted young patients and met the staff of the establishment.

"Thank you @GalGadot for visiting us at the InnovaHealth Children's Hospital.You're a real Wonder Woman." The kids loved it … just like the staff ", Wrote Dr. Lucas Colazzo, heart surgeon at the hospital, next to a photo of Gadot posing with several employees.

In other photos, Gadot cradles a very young girl who is being treated at the hospital, as well than to meet more staff members.The surprise visit comes as Gadot and his team film Wonder Woman 1984 more of the 2017 blockbuster, in the Washington, DC and Virginia area.

One of the new additions to the film is no longer available. is other than Kristen Wiig, who will represent the villain, Cheetah, as well as his secret identity Barbara Minerva.

A little over a week ago, fans had their first glimpses of the highly anticipated follow up, including a look at the Wiig character. In the picture, published by director Patty Jenkins on Twitter, Minerva uncomfortably looks at what appears to be a natural history museum. She wears round glbades, a loose red sweatshirt and an olive green skirt while she is surrounded by taxidermy creatures.

Jenkins also shared a glimpse of Chris Pine, who will resume his role as Steve Trevor. In the photo, Pine walks around an 80s shopping center in period outfit while looking very uncomfortable.

Gadot also posted pictures of his character. In a particularly mysterious image, Wonder Woman watches a bank of televisions, each playing something different from the time. All that is visible from Gadot is the reflection of his face.

Wonder Woman 1984 arrives at the cinema on November 1, 2019.
