The Gaelic Players Association (GPA) and Sport Ireland have found a solution to the payment of grants this year to inter-county players.

The statement also provided an agreed endorsement to the eligible expense plans of the players between the counties:
- Players must comply and be bound by the law. Irish Anti-Doping Regulations
- Players must participate in the Irish Anti-Doping Program and may undertake anti-doping tests, including blood and / or urine tests, in competition or out of competition.
- understand that a refusal to submit to a test will have the same consequences as if the Player had been tested positive
- Players must be aware of the substances and methods that were included in the Prohibited List (such as amended from time to time) and to take responsibility for ensuring that any substance ingested by the player does not violate Irish anti-doping rules;
- Any player who is part of a county jury will not be able to apply for or receive funding under the Sport Ireland Inter-County Lecture. He may confirm the completion of the GAA anti-doping e-learning course or participation in an anti-doping education session organized by GAA no later than March 31st of the year. for which funding is payable (ie, as of March 31, 2019 for players participating in the 2019 Championship season)
