Cardi B puts his baby before the tour
The rap superstar, Cardi B, discovered how difficult it is to continue his career soon after having a baby.
She was to join Bruno Mars on the road less than two months after childbirth to Kulture daughter Kiari. But after introspection, she decided to retire saying, "I'm not ready to leave my baby behind".
March was totally favorable but it was not easy She gave up the tour that she had been so sure she would be able to handle.
In April, she announced to Jimmy Fallon: "I'm touring Bruno Mars, and I'm taking my baby with me!"
His change of heart is not so surprising. Everyone's experiences are different, but having a newborn is exhausting and challenging – and perhaps rewarding.
But for artists like Cardi B, whose careers are tied to tour dates, having a baby can be a difficult choice.

The star told iNews that the tour had been difficult because she and her husband Leyman Lahcine had trouble finding the right balance with a nanny.
Things got easier after Lahcine took 12 months off to be the full-time caregiver of their child.
"Oh my God, it's like all the pressure has been lifted, it's amazing," she said. "I feel like he's badier than he was before now."
"It's really refreshing and exhilarating to see a man take responsibility for part of his family life."
