This is, of course, the first year of the Super 8.

In the case of two or more teams finishing the points level, the next qualifying criterion will be the head-to-head result between the two teams.

Last week, Donegal met the GAA to ask for clarification on the situation where Dublin plays two games at Croke Park, their home ground, while all other teams play a home game.
The GAA stated: "If the Central Council collectively felt that non-structural changes to certain aspects of the Championship were required, that these could be submitted to the Annual Congress in 2019 for consideration."
This effectively means that this arrangement can be changed for next season.
