The Irish Football Association hopes to stage the 2021 UEFA Super Cup at Windsor Park in Belfast.
Four badociations have expressed their interest in staging the game with the Irish FA facing competition from Belarus, Finland and Ukraine.
Meanwhile, at lunchtime today, the IFA and the FAI are also expected to launch a joint-bid to host the U21 European Championships in 2021 or 2023, with the former becoming coincidental with the centenary of the latter.
The final 2021 Champions League will be staged at the Munich Arena, the home of Bayern Munich, or the Saint Petersburg Stadium in Russia.
Sevilla, Tbilisi and Vienna will compete in the 2021 final Europa League, with Prague and Gothenburg in the running to stage the final Champions League women.
The declarations of interest are not binding and the final proposals must be delivered to the world by February 15, 2019.
UEFA's executive committee will select the successful host badociations in May or June 2019.
