The most valuable company in the world in terms of market valuation is Apple, and it's been a long time. The maker of high-end smartphones, computers and tablets from Cupertino has seen its value rise rapidly over the last decade. According to Bloomberg the company reached a peak value of $ 950 billion in early June, before a slight decline that brought it back to its current value of about $ 910 billion.
Apple is the first company in the world to break the mystical 1 trillion dollar mark, but it now seems like an outsider could get there first. Based on an even faster growth than Apple in recent years, Amazon has brought its own valuation to 825 billion dollars. In 2016, the value of the company was about 236 billion dollars, which represents an increase of nearly four times in just two years. Jeff Bezos, CEO of Amazon Jeff Bezos, is today the richest in the world with a value of $ 141 billion.
This raises the possibility that Apple may not be the first company to break the fabulous mark of $ 1 trillion, it's only a matter of time before that it does not cross the number, but the important point is that Amazon's rapid growth, fueled by the mbadive adoption of e-commerce and Amazon's dominant position in this area, means that it could just beat Apple and that it will probably be higher than Apple for a while at least.

Apple's valuation has a lot to do with its strong position in the US and China markets, where the iPhone series is selling in large numbers. At the top, Apple is enjoying its product line, with high profit margins on almost all of its hardware and software products. However, Apple's growth is not as fast as Amazon positioning itself as the world's largest e-commerce player.
It's only a matter of time before these two companies break the $ 1 trillion mark. However, it seems more and more likely that Amazon will arrive there before Apple.
