James McClean will be the Stoke City player at the end of the week after the Republican winger completes a medical exam on Friday

The Derryman played 30 games in the last campaign West Bromwich Albion.

A statement on Stoke's website said: "Stoke City can confirm that James McClean has undergone a medical examination at Clayton Wood and is waiting to finish his signature over the weekend.
