Online games have controls in place to prohibit players by using tricks, hacks or toxic language. However, EA Sports has gone one step further by barring a FIFA 19 Pro player from criticizing the match.

Kurt Fenech is the professional FIFA 19 player banned for launching "personal attacks". According to Fenech, he received a two-month ban, which virtually ruined his entire season.

However, he added that even if they banned him for a week, he would never play another game. He noted that the reason for his ban was his opinion on the state of EA and its games.

He noted that it is his right to express his opinion even if it means upsetting the other players. According to the FIFA 19 professional players, the game is in an unacceptable state and EA has done nothing to improve it.

He then added that his time with FIFA was over. Fenech will ask for legal advice and leave from there.

This certainly does not seem good for EA. The company is already on the wrong side of the majority of players for its business practices. Micro-transactions may be the only thing for which EA is notorious.

This will only add to the list of problems that EA is already facing. In Belgium, EA is currently the subject of a criminal investigation because of its refusal to comply with the Belgian law on games of chance. The law states that chests are games of chance and should not exist in games.

EA refused to comply with the law despite the fact that 2K and Activision Blizzard complied with it. Following this, a joint investigation of 15 countries against the video game is underway.

Surprisingly, Ireland noted that chests are not games of chance. According to the State Minister at the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry "does not have the role of regulating the development of game developers with regard to the operation of their games, nor in the offer purchase of games ".

FIFA is a football simulator developed by EA Sports. The is available for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
