Joey Carbery and Luke McGrath will renew their partnership halfway behind Leinster, when Ireland faces Italy at Solider Field on Saturday.

Like today's Irish Independent, Joe Schmidt offered his fourth start to Carbery, who joined the team in Chicago today.

Having missed the summer tour in Australia, McGrath is back on the international team playing for the first time since winning against Argentina last year.

Apart from them, Bundee Aki and Garry Ringrose form a formidable partnership in the middle of the field, while Jordan Larmour makes his first start in the back.

Andrew Conway's tour was severely interrupted by a injury in Australia and he returns to the right wing with goals-scoring machine named Jacob Stockdale on the opposite side.

Rhys Ruddock is one of the last Leinster players, including Josh van der Flier and Jack Conan.

Niall Scannell is again preferred to Sean Cronin, and the hooker from Munster will be eager to apply for the coming month.

Jack McGrath and Andrew Porter are standing on either side of Scannell.

Tadhg Beirne is also making his first start for Ireland, alongside Quinn Roux in what is a new second-tier partnership with a heavy burden on the ability of the Munster lock to keep up.

Ross Byrne and Will Addison are expected to enter the international market.

The game will start at 8pm Irish time on Saturday and will be broadcast live on eir Sport 1, as well as on eir Sport's Youtube and Facebook pages.
