Netflix announced the first date of several concerts at the TCA summer press tour Sunday.
The limited series of 10 episodes will be launched on September 21st. The series tells the stories of Annie Landsberg (Emma Stone) and Owen Milgrim (Jonah Hill), two aliens drawn to the last stages of a mysterious pharmaceutical trial, each for his own reasons. Annie is dissatisfied and aimless, obsessed with broken relationships with her mother and sister; Owen, the fifth son of wealthy New York industrialists, has struggled all his life with a disputed diagnosis of schizophrenia.
The series also stars Justin Theroux as Dr. James K. Mantleray, who claims to be able to fix anything on the mind with a sequence of pills of his own invention. "Maniac" was created by Patrick Somerville and directed by Cary Fukunaga .
Then, the highly anticipated "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina", based on the Archie Comics series of the same name, will be launched on October 26th.
The series features Kiernan Shipka in the title role and re-imagines the origin and adventures of Sabrina the Teenage Witch as a dark history of pbadage to the age who trades in the world. horror, the occult and witchcraft. In addition to Shipka, the cast includes Miranda Otto, Lucy Davis, Ross Lynch, Michelle Gomez, Chance Perdomo, Jaz Sinclair, Richard Coyle, Tati Gabrielle, Adeline Rudolph, Abigail Cowen, Lachlan Watson and Bronson Pinchot.
