Prince George looks all grown up in the official photo for his fifth birthday

They grow up fast! And the old saying applies even to the royal family!

For proof, look no further than Prince George's official birthday photo. He was five on Sunday and he could not be more dizzy.

"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very happy to share a new photograph of Prince George to mark his fifth birthday," Kensington Palace wrote with George's blow showing off his pearly whites. "Thank you all for your beautiful messages."

George even got his own commemorative coin for the big day.

It feels like yesterday when the world looked forward to Britain waiting for the arrival of his future probable monarch.

As the eldest child of Prince William, George is in line to take the throne of his father, just as William will take the place of Prince Charles someday.

According to a statement from the Royal Family, the adorable photo of George in the garden at Clarence House by Matt Porteous on July 9 after the baptism of his new little brother, Prince Louis.

Louis, the new member of the royal family, was born in April.
