After months of waiting, Warner Bros. finally shows Zachary Levi in costume for [19659005] Shazam! Even though his background is in horror, director David F. Sandberg is at the head of the film DC that seems to be the most optimistic and entertaining. There have been a lot of updates on the film throughout the production, but when the shoot ended, a big question remained in everyone's mind: why an official look at Levi in costume had not was published and when he could come. Plans were already in place to broadcast the image next to the first photos leaked, but plans have changed and no official image has been released. Levi provided the fans with the best aspect of it with a promotional banner. It was the closest to an official look we had received, until now.

EW just debuted the first official image for Shazam! Showing Levi in the complete suit. The overall look of the costume is no longer a surprise, but the official look offers a cleaner and more polished look to Shazam. The picture shows Billy Batson's superhero form coming out with best friend Freddy Freeman (Jack Dylan Grazer).
Now that the studio has finally released the image, fans will no longer have to wonder how much compared to still photos. It looks very similar, but the shining lightning seems better here. This is just a still image however, so the costume seems to be as good or even better when it is actually in action.
The revelation itself marks the first piece of marketing for Shazam! and will immediately spark questions of when the full campaign will begin. That's what will do each time a trailer will be broadcast. The priority for WB is the marketing Aquaman since its release in December, so it might still be a little while before we can see the costume in action. However, fans are undoubtedly eager to see the actual transformation process that the film uses to turn Billy Batson (Asher Angel) into Shazam. There is also a lot of interest in seeing how much Levi actually plays the role, all the more so as he will play the heroic figure as though it was only a matter of time. ;a child.
Since there might still be a little more time Shazam! the documents are made public, there is at least more need to request the revelation of the costume. Instead, we turn to a trailer (which could start at SDCC), but it will take time to prepare. For now, it's time to just think about the costume and just be happy that the official image is finally here.
