Sligo Rovers is furious about having to spend 11 weeks without a league game after the FAI postponed Sunday's clash with Dundalk
This match at the Showgrounds was canceled because of the victory Lilywhites in the Europa League last night.
Rovers refused Lilywhite's requests for adjournment, but said the FAI intervened last Saturday to say that the path would be cleared for any European winner.
But Bit O 'Red is disappointed with this, pointing out that Dundalk was home last night and was playing the first leg of AEK Larnaca at Oriel Park next Thursday.
The Rovers have a semi-final EA Sports Cup against Derry City on August 6th. a FAI Cup clash with the City of Longford at the Showgrounds five days later.
But the postponement of the Dundalk match will mean that there will be 77 days between their last home game on June 30th and September 15th.
