Sommer Lecky continued the excellent Irish performance at the U20 World Championships by getting the silver medal at the women's high jump.
Athlete Finn Valley jumped 1.90m to take money behind Karina Taranda, of Belarus 1.992m
Lecky took the first step of the podium, which allowed him to clinch the silver medal to Maria Fernanda Murillo, medalist from Bronnze in Colombia, who needed two attempts to pbad 1.90 m
