Cork City moved to a Dundalk point at the top of the first division in recording his biggest win of the season.

Garry Buckley and Jimmy Keohane's goals in the first half allowed the rebel Army to maintain control at half-time

but Keohane, Karl Sheppard and Barry McNamee moved the ball well . Sheppard tested Ger Doherty with a remote shot before Derry's Dan Seaborne needed an essential touch to keep McNamee from turning in a Sheppard center.

However, Derry should have gone just 18 minutes for Ronan Hale to catch Jamie McDonagh's cross. With the next game, McNamee and Sheppard brought in Buckley, who provided a nice finish.
