Connacht put his PRO14 campaign back on track for the November break with an impressive bonus points victory at the Sportsground.
It took them some time to get to the top of the scorecard, but they never turned back once the Jackies of Dragons lost their 37th consecutive defeat away.
Connacht dominated from the start, but could have been overtaken by the Dragons. Harrison Keddie failed to find scrum half Rhodri Williams then Taine Basham, number 8, but Taine Basham let slip a pbad to winger Dafydd Howells, with a clear race to the line in the two cases.
Connacht, boosted by these breakaways, then took control and made it count on the scoreboard, scoring four tries before the interval to lead 26-0.
They never found the lock after 23 minutes for James Cannon, who had scored after a penalty for the corner on the right, but had already been guilty of crossing after a similar move.
Connacht has been rewarded by this score and has never been disappointed. He was rewarded for the excellent work in depth which earned him 71% of ball possession in the first half.
Darragh Leader, injured Cian Kelleher's replacement, crowned his first game of the season with a try in the right corner after a good break from Tom Farrell and Tiernan O 'Halloran after 27 minutes and even at this point, while was clear what was left to decide was the margin of victory.
Connacht's new teammate, David Horwitz, starting his first game since joining the Rebels this summer, created the third try with a deep break before Farrell brought in Colby Fainga'a for his first try on Connacht.

Horwitz grew in confidence as the game progressed and will give Andy Friend plenty of options from here.
Connacht, after a disappointing loss to an underperforming Ospreys team last week, tried his luck with captain Jarrad Butler at the helm.
It was not surprising that they got the bonus point just before the break, when the hitter Tom McCartney finished his move in 13 phases, the third conversion of Horwitz placing them 26-0 in front.
Kieran Marmion thought he had scored a try before going out unscathed early in the second period but the score was dismissed, with Ultan Dillane guilty of blocking.
Hallam Amos missed his try for the Dragons before Eoin Griffin took part in his 100th Connacht match and Tom Farrell got a great show with his fifth try ten minutes from the end, with Basham getting a consolation attempt at death Welsh.
