"We should be paid twice to work off stage"

Niamh Marron is an award-winning comedian, writer, actress and photographer. She is the winner of the British reality show Show Me the Funny, finalist of the 'Funny Women Awards'. in London and finalist of the RTE New Comedy Awards. She played at the SECC in Glasgow, Scotland and received four "Yeses" awards. on Britain's Got Talent. You can catch it tonight at the Vodafone Comedy Festival.

What is the most important lesson about money that your acting career has taught you?

We deserve to be paid. Few people would think how much we are working behind the scenes and they may think we are paid a lot just for a few minutes on stage. But we are working nonstop and supposedly our life expectancy is not great. So if something we should be paid twice, we can live comfortably like people in the late '80s, but do it all in the space of a few hours.

What is the most expensive place you have visited? Thank God it only took us two hours. It will not be long before they start charging people to breathe. Notice, Ryanair could start first ..

What is the best advice you have ever had about money?

"Put it away … your money is not good in this city." That's why I'm doing all my shopping in the neighboring cities, hoping it will be soon told me.

Outside the property, what is the most expensive thing you bought?

A Karen Millen dress that I can not eat food. This dress is beautiful but I have to make some new lifestyle choices if I want to wear it again.

What was your worst job?

Inventory candies at night … without eating them. I have more will than I thought. Also, we did not say it would be night shifts and that was especially the case. It was everywhere in the country and I had to give notice of a month with what days I could work. Then wait until the last minute to be informed when I have to work. I think that those who had to do the rota had problems of engagement, they probably should not be around humans, besides the rotas.

If you won the Euromillions, what would you do with the money? and my partner in Ireland and London and another cool place that nobody knows. Have enough to live comfortably. Make a sitcom and a movie. Give the rest to my family, my friends, my charities and organize my own charity. I would probably leave the rest under the left flowerpot at my front door, but attached to a taser and a video.

If you could design your own euro bill, what image would you put on it

golden retriever dog, because they are one of the most adorable things in the world and I would not want to let them go. This could help me save money. It might also not, I could just take a picture of one of the notes I guess and keep spending.

Spotify of course, the other is a rhombus.

What was the last thing you bought online?

Train, bus and plane tickets. They are all that I ever seem to buy.

Have you ever made an insurance claim? Why do you want me to do it?

Would you buy property now?

If I had money.

Have you ever bargained?

No. I did it recently for a chicken at a store in the Midlands and at the butcher's pace that night he will have written a complaint about me in the newspaper the next morning.

What three things would you not be able to do without if you tighten your belt?

My partner, my phone and my treats. The first is essential always, the second is a necessity and if you can not have a treatment in life, then it is not life.
