CAPE TOWN – WABetaInfo, a platform that discusses the latest news or leaks information about WhatsApp claims that the platform is working on new features.
According to WABetaInfo, these are the latest features set to be released:
1. Silent Mode
The latest WhatsApp feature is silent mode, which allows users to hide the badge for muted cats app.
The new silent mode feature is already active for Android users and is enabled by default.
This means that, unlike previously, users will not see a badge when they receive a message from muted whatsapp chats and groups.
2. Vacation Mode
WhatsApp is also working on a vacation mode, which will stop archived chats being un-archived if users have muted them.
WhatsApp currently automatically reverses archived cats ounce a new message is received from that cat.
3. Linking to external services
Another feature which will arrive soon is the ability to link to WhatsApp.
Other services include Instagram and Twitter.
"Instagram Tapping, after inserting your credentials, your WhatsApp account will be correctly linked to your Instagram profile," said WABetaInfo.
In September, WABetaInfo will be able to help you find your way around the world.
