Because no one wants to interrupt what has been an exceptional World Cup tournament ending in recent memory, no one has been amused by this. Or at least nobody should have had fun – at least in the beginning, before anyone knew why they had invaded the field.

Update: The Russian punk rock feminist protest group, Pussy Riot, later took credit for the invaders on the ground according to reports
the independent British newspaper:
Pussy Riot claimed responsibility for the invasion on their Facebook page with a long statement.
They said: "FOUDRE!" At this moment – the four members of Pussy Riot in the final of the World Cup: "The Miller comes into play" on the World Championship!
