WEIGHT LOSS: Alanoosh Williams tipped the scales at nearly 20st (Pic: RESULTS WITH LUCY)
At her heaviest, Alanoosh Williams tipped the scales at nearly 20st and wore a size 24 dress.
After being diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) at the age of 18, Alanoosh found it difficult to lose weight.
The 25-year-old, from Lancashire, had tried various weight loss methods in an attempt to drop the pounds, but nothing ever worked.
She said: “I would try different diets and would lose weight each time, but then I would have a treat meal, which would turn into a treat weekend, a treat week, month and so on.”
Alanoosh added: “For me, having PCOS means that I gain weight very quickly unless I follow a strict low carb, high protein diet.
“My skin is prone to boils and redness and my mood is also affected.
“One weekend I went to London and actually gained 10lbs. A lot of people will presume that it was mostly water weight, but that was not the case.”
Alanoosh made several attempts to start a regular gym routine, but was scared of being judged.
“I found going to the gym really intimidating,” Alanoosh explained.
“I used to think I was quite fit because I used to dance but on a couple of occasions I caught trainers looking me up and down which made me feel judged.”

While searching for weight loss surgery, Alanoosh came across an online fitness course called Results With Lucy.
She said: “I thought, what have I got to lose? I spoke with the team about my goals and decided to try the ‘New Beginnings’ 12-week programme. During this programme I lost 3st 5lbs.
“The programme was great and covered nutrition as well as workouts. The different Results With Lucy programmes work your entire body which for me, meant that I saw changes in my size and shape.
“Almost immediately after starting the programme my skin cleared up and everyone commented on how clear it was.
“Now, I never get boils or bad skin anymore and after the first three weeks, the pain I’d always had in my knees from carrying the excess weight completely went.”

Since joining Results With Lucy in Summer 2016, Alanoosh has lost an impressive 6st 7lbs and dropped from a size 24 to a UK 14-16.
Alanoosh concluded: “Before I lost weight I lived in black during the week and jeans, then on the weekend a nice top usually from Asda as this was the easiest place to buy plus-sized clothes.
“Now I choose what I want to wear, rather than what I think I should wear in order to cover up.
“I wear tight fitted clothing which suits my hour-glbad figure and I even wear dresses. Before Results With Lucy I think I wore a dress three times in my life and one of them was my wedding dress.
“Managing my weight is still hard and if I don’t stick to plan it’s very easy for me to gain a large amount of weight. This summer is a good example, I relaxed my diet but still exercised and managed to gain 3st in three months.
“Luckily, Results With Lucy doesn’t make sticking to a nutrition plan or finishing a workout feel like a chore, so it’s easy for me to get back on it.”
