The salary of December + the thirteenth
With a single coupon in December, the salary and the thirteenth due will be paid.
The thirteenth is an additional month, provided by the CCNL art. 80
Who is the thirteenth?
The payment will cover staff hired on permanent contracts and alternating contracts on August 31 or June 30.
It will be fully paid to staff on duty from 1 January; in the case of service provided for a period of less than one year or in the event of termination of the relationship relationship during the year, the thirteenth is due at the rate of one twelfth for each month of service provided or fraction of more than 15 days.
It is not thirteenth for periods of leave or absence without pay.
Therefore, since the thirteenth expires according to the months worked (from January of the reference year), the amount due is proportional to the twelfths worked.
On the 13th, the Irpef levy is at the maximum rate, without the application of a tax deduction (see details in the Withholding tax section) of the salary slip.
