Milan, jewelry aggression in the Brera region: the thieves of the gang of "Pink Panthers"

Identified the perpetrators of the robbery committed on December 20, 2017 in Via Pontaccio in Milan to the detriment of the jewel "Luxury Paradise": they belong to the group of criminal origin called "Pink Panthers", famous all over the world for its unscrupulous methods and spectacular robberies committed. The state police executed a custody order against the perpetrators, who had delivered a booty of about 100,000 euros in watches. According to lessons learned, the precautionary measure implemented by the mobile survey team concerns three people. Two are sought after internationally and one has been stopped.

The group

The "Pink Panthers" is an international network specialized in the loss of jewelry and watches on international jet-set sites. The Côte d'Azur, Dubai, Switzerland itself are just some of the places where members of this group are. The initial core (the group's activity goes back to the early years of the new millennium) was soldiers returning from the Balkan war; trained in the use of weapons, they had converted their expertise by burgling high-end jewelers. Tabs and guns in hand to paralyze employees and customers, mallets to pierce the windows: the shots were instantaneous and they led to boots sometimes exceeding one million euros. Gradually, the nucleus of origin has expanded, recruiting new followers; The Slavic origin and the paramilitary badault technique are common to newcomers.

In the case of the robbery in the Brera region, on December 20th, two bandits entered the "Luxury Paradise" jewelry shop via Pontaccio at 10h50, claiming to be customers and wearing long hats and coats, under which they hid a stick and a weapon. Turned to the action, they broke windows with a stick and, while one was taking the clocks, the other was pointing the weapon in the direction of those present. The thieves then escaped on foot. The value of the stolen watches was more than 100,000 euros.
