As of January 1, 2019, the current is confirmed at 1.1% pension revaluation indexas stated in the DM Economia of 16 November (in the Official Journal of 26 November). Both with regard to the adjustment of 2018 – which confirms the estimate of last year – and with respect to the forecasts (it will eventually be adjusted next year on the basis of effective inflation). Therefore, no adjustment will be necessary.
indicators
The revaluation of checks is gradually graduated, with income brackets (calculated only for the portion exceeding):
- up to three times the minimum (around € 1539): revaluation of 1.1%
- three to five times the minimum (from 1539 to 2,000 565 euros): revaluation from 90% to 0.99%
- more than five times the minimum: revaluation from 75% to 0.825%.
The second novelty lies in the fact that the equalization margins provided by Law No 388/2000 are again applied from 2019, whereas in recent years the mechanism was governed by Law No 147/2013.
calculation
As a result, the rate is lower than that applied in 2018, with the sole exception of treatments up to three times the minimum, for which rebadessment was and remains at 100%.
In theory, the new rate is disadvantageous between three and four times the minimum, since the 2018 range was 95%. But now, 90% applies only to the part exceeding three times the minimum, while the revaluation at 100% is calculated up to 1539 euros.
example: The site of small and medium enterprises pmi.it proposes an example on a pension of 1900 euros (between three and four times the minimum). The sum of about 17 euros corresponds to 100% of the share up to three times the minimum, to 3.5 euros of revaluation at 90% on the remaining part, so that the increase will be about 20.5 euros.
With the calculation 2018, then 95% on the total amount received, the increase would have been between 19 and 20 euros. In all other cases, the revaluation is also higher in terms of rates: in 2018, it was equal to 75% between four and five times the minimum, 50% between five and six times and 50% for the most advanced treatments .
