Arezzo, kills the thief in his company: investigation for legitimate over-defense

A 29-year-old Moldovan entered the night at a tire shop in Monte San Savino (Arezzo). But in the meantime, he found the owner, who slept in his company just to prevent any theft. The owner was not surprised and shot at the young man, who managed to get away from the scene to go to the outdoor courtyard, where he died soon after. Now, the holder is being investigated for excessive self-defense.

The episode occurred around 4 pm. It seems that with the young man killed there was an accomplice, managed to escape. The owner reportedly heard noises, woke up and instinctively shot two or three shots. The Moldavian would have managed to get himself off the business after being hit the knee and thighthen collapse in the yard. Probably one of the bullets cut the femoral artery and caused death.

The company's owner had recently stated on television that he had been in the habit of spending the night in his resale after suffering numerous robberies: according to his testimony, thieves would have entered his local 38 times.

According to the owner's defender, lawyer Alessandra Cheli, "it's too early to talk, you still have to understand everything". The owner of the resale is not in custody.
