ROME – The budget of the Inps has a hole of more than 6 billion euros. To be precise, the National Social Security Institute finished the year 2017 with a red of 6 billion and 984 million euros, an increase over the previous year. The gap between the contributions collected by the INPS and the pensions to be paid is the cause of the gap in the budget. Of course, not all categories of workers have the same weight, but which ones have the greatest impact on the budget?

First, there is the former Inpdap, which pays the pensions of public sector employees, which was incorporated in 2012, and which resulted in a deficit of $ 9,260 million. That's the difference between the contributory income and the services provided. After the state, there are artisans (5 billion and a half), farmers (just over 3 billion) and traders (with just over 2 billion).

To offset them, there are some healthy directions: the workers' fund accounts for 267 million euros, the private employees 2 billion 743 million and the subordinate employees more than 5 billion.
