A Belgian couple, of Iranian origin, was arrested last Saturday in the Brussels neighborhood of Woluwe-Saint-Pierre for planning a terrorist attack . According to anti-terrorism, the couple was found in possession of bomb-making equipment: 500 grams of explosive TATP and a detonator. The target of the attack was the demonstration organized by the mujahideen of the Iranian people, in Villepinte, north of Paris. According to the Belgian media, the two men, Amir S. and his wife Nashimeh N. of Belgian nationality, live in Wilrijk, a town near Antwerp. "The attack was thwarted thanks to a collaboration between the security of the Belgian State and the French and German judicial authorities", informs the Belgian prosecutor
Meanwhile in France [19459005theallegedaccompliceofthecouple was arrested and two other suspects were also questioned. An Iranian diplomat working at the Vienna embbady, suspected of being in contact with the Iranian couple, was also arrested in Germany. Other research has taken place in five different locations in Belgium.
