Clash between trucks on the A11, reopening of the Firenze Mare highway between Altopascio and Capannori

Lucca, December 24, 2018 – This was reopened around 9 o'clock in the morning A11 motorway closed following an accident between Altopascio and Capannori. The accident occurred at kilometer 52 towards Pisa: a heavy vehicle and a pickup truck that had overturned after hitting the heavy vehicle on the track were involved. The driver was injured in the overthrow, but upon first information he would no longer be in serious condition.

For the moment, at the place of the accident, only one lane is crossed and one kilometer of tail is recorded.
