  Anti-Terrorist Controls: Surveillance at the Port of Genoa

In the Port of Genoa Operation Neptune (as of 2 July), organized by Interpol – Antiterrorism Lyon with the Accession of the International Police Cooperation Service and the Central Directorate of Immigration and Border Police
The objective is to monitor the movements of foreign fighters or suspected terrorists crossing the border. maritime routes of the Mediterranean and involve, besides Italy (with the ports of Genoa and Palermo), five other countries: Algeria, France, Morocco, Spain and Tunisia. In the port of Genoa, an Italian airport that hosts the largest number of pbadengers to and from North Africa, extensive checks of thousands of pbadengers are underway. In the Ligurian capital, 25 men were employed. Experienced industry badysts – employees of the Interpol General Secretariat – will review the results of the checks to broaden the investigation ideas to counter terrorism.
